Sunshine Yellow

I've just seen that my Windmills cushion in yellow got a lovely feature on Country Days, the Country Homes & Interiors blog, on how to add a little yellow to your home. I'm a big fan of yellow, even more so on sunny summer days, and it always seems to want to make an appearance in my designs. Thank you Tamara Kelly and Country Days for including me in your top picks. You can read the whole article and watch the video here.

I'd also like to share an interview I did with Terrys Fabrics who approached me to take part in their Designer Insights series. Thanks Terrys Fabrics, I enjoyed taking part and choosing my picks of the season, which also include some yellow! You can read the interview here, alongside a wealth of designer interviews including Sarah Campbell, Rachael Taylor and Carolyn Gavin.

I really enjoyed exhibiting at Top Drawer last week. It was tiring (especially with a little one!) but good. I chose to exhibit in the Gift section and it was a good choice for me I think, I got new stockists and a lot of interest which was great. My stand was 2 x 2 metres and it had to be designed around a rather large column in the new Olympia site. Building around it gave my stand a bit more depth and added interest I think, along with a nice cosy feel. You can see a snapshot of my stand below.

After the show last week I was thrilled to be featured on Print & Pattern as part of a round-up of who was showing at Top Drawer and Home. Thanks very much to Marie Perkins for the lovely feature!

Happy New Year! I'm excited to be exhibiting at Top Drawer for the first time on 11th-13th January. I'm busy getting my final preparations done before the show starts on Sunday. I will be showcasing my range of tea towels, cushions, greeting cards, notebooks and prints.
